Love gets messy, magic runs wild, and nothing is quite as it seems! 

Opening the 2026 Courtyard Shakespeare Festival is The Bard’s own A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Friday, June 12! This most playful and magical comedy tells the story of young lovers, mischievous fairies, and mistaken identities unfolding over a single enchanted night in the forest. As human reason gives way to dream logic, love becomes irrational, transformation becomes inevitable, and the natural world itself seems alive with possibility. Don’t sleep through the dream!

Experience this engaging story of loss, betrayal, and guilt as these characters learn that their choices and actions have a cost. But in the end, after learning that cost, understand that no one is truly alone.
