The Human Services program at California Baptist University prepares students to understand and respond to complex social challenges by equipping them with knowledge in human behavior and community need. Consistent with the university student outcomes, upon completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Human Services degree, graduates will be able to:

- Describe the history of the helping relationship, intervention strategies within different settings, managed care and models of service delivery in human services.
- Apply biopsychosocial theories, principles and concepts related to the human services field, profession, and society at large.
- Evaluate quantitative and qualitative research methodology to the study of human services.

- Apply knowledge of ethical considerations, crisis management and community needs to assessment and intervention in human services.
